Already in Orange County
We already run phones for businesses down the road from you
We have no Irvine storefront, and we will not pretend to. What we do have is a long list of Orange County clients, a California office in Long Beach, and technicians who drive the 405 every week.
Ten Orange County locations, one bill
A Mediterranean restaurant group runs its phones through DirecTech at more than 30 Southern California locations. Ten are in Orange County, including two in Irvine, plus Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Santa Ana, and Mission Viejo.

Where Irvine works
Phone systems for every corner of Irvine
Irvine is a planned city of business districts, and each one asks something different of its phones.
Around John Wayne Airport, along Jamboree, MacArthur, and Von Karman
Irvine Business Complex
Law firms, accountants, lenders, title and escrow, and real estate offices. They need call recording that respects California's all-party consent rule, clean call routing for assistants and paralegals, and numbers that follow attorneys and agents onto their cell phones.
Off the 5 and the 405, around Spectrum Center and the Irvine Center Drive corridor
Irvine Spectrum
Software, medical device, and corporate offices, plus the restaurants and shops around the center. Hybrid teams want the desk phone, the laptop, and the mobile app to ring as one extension, and front desks want an auto attendant that sends callers to the right floor.
Next to UC Irvine
UCI Research Park and University Town Center
Life science, engineering, and early-stage companies that grow from ten people to forty in a year. They need to add a user in minutes, keep a main number as they move suites, and avoid buying a phone system they will outgrow.
What is included
Everything an Irvine business phone system should do
One cloud system for the front desk, the back office, and the people who are never at their desk.
Cloud PBX
The phone system lives in the cloud, not in a closet. No on-site server to replace, and changes are made in minutes.
Mobile app
Your business number rings on your cell phone and calls go out from it too, so customers never see your personal number.
Auto attendant
"Press 1 for scheduling" menus, business-hours and holiday schedules, and hunt groups that ring the next person when someone is busy.
Microsoft Teams
If your staff work in Microsoft 365, tell us before you sign and we will show you exactly how calls will reach people who live in Teams.
Business texting (SMS)
Text customers from your main business number. We handle the carrier 10DLC registration that is now required for business texting.
Call recording
Record every call or only some, and search and replay them in the cloud. We set up the announcement California law requires.
Number porting
Keep the 949, 714, and 657 numbers your customers already dial. We file the paperwork with your current carrier.
911 and E911
Every phone is registered with a dispatchable address, as federal rules (Kari's Law and RAY BAUM'S Act) require for business phone systems.
Yealink desk phones
Color-screen Yealink T74W phones with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, configured before they reach your office.
Who we work with
Built around how Irvine businesses answer the phone
Medical and dental offices
Appointment lines, after-hours routing to an answering service or on-call phone, and on-hold music that keeps patients on the line instead of hanging up.
Law, accounting, and financial firms
Call recording with a consent announcement, direct lines for every professional, and voicemail that lands in email.
Real estate and property management
Numbers that ring on agents' cell phones without exposing personal numbers, plus business texting for showings and tenants.
Restaurants and retail
One account for every location, hunt groups for busy hosts, and a phone that still rings when the kitchen tablet is on another network.
Churches, schools, and nonprofits
Office lines, a directory for staff, and simple voicemail management for volunteers and part-time teams.
Tech and life science companies
Remote and in-office staff on one system, fast adds and moves, and call reporting for sales and support teams.
Pricing
Real prices, written down
Most Irvine providers make you book a call to see a number. Ours are on the page, and a custom quote starts from your current bill so you can compare line by line.

- 5 cloud PBX user licenses
- 5 call paths and call recording
- E911 service
- 1,000 outbound minutes per user each month
Five Yealink T74W desk phones and professional setup: $1,450 one time. 10- and 20-user bundles are on the bundles page.
Send us your current bill
More than 20 users, several locations, or a mix of desk phones and the mobile app? We price it from your bill and show you the two side by side, with nothing buried in the fine print.
Switching
How we move your Irvine numbers
Porting is the part people worry about. Here is exactly what happens.
Send us a recent bill
Email or upload your latest phone bill. We read every line and list the numbers to move.
Sign the port request
A one-page authorization (LOA). The business name and address must match your current carrier account exactly, so we fill it in from the bill.
We build your system
Users, menus, voicemail, and the mobile app are set up and the desk phones are configured before your port date.
Port day
Your numbers move to DirecTech. Keep your old service active until then, and we tell you when it is safe to cancel.
Before you switch: do not cancel your current phone service until your numbers have moved. Canceling first can release the numbers, and a released number is very hard to get back. More in our guide to number porting in California.

Questions
Irvine business VoIP questions
Does DirecTech have an office in Irvine?
No. Our California office is at 3780 Kilroy Airport Way, Suite 200, in Long Beach, about 20 miles up the 405 from the Irvine Business Complex. We support more than 25 client locations in Orange County, three of them in Irvine, and schedule on-site visits for installs and anything that cannot be fixed remotely.
Can we keep our 949 business number?
In most cases, yes. Local 949, 714, and 657 numbers, toll-free numbers, and fax numbers can usually be ported. We check your numbers before you sign and handle the transfer paperwork with your current carrier.
How long does it take to switch?
Setting up the system takes days. The number port depends on your current carrier, and it is usually done within a few weeks. Your old service keeps working until port day, so there is no gap in calls.
How much does business VoIP cost in Irvine?
Our 5-user bundle is $202.45 a month plus tax: five cloud PBX user licenses, call paths, call recording, and E911, with 1,000 outbound minutes per user each month. Five Yealink T74W desk phones and setup are a one-time $1,450. Larger or custom setups are quoted line by line from your current bill.
What happens to our phones if the internet goes down?
Calls keep reaching you. The system lives in the cloud, so incoming calls can forward to the mobile app or another number automatically. We can also add backup internet so the desk phones stay up when the main line drops.
Can we record calls in California?
Yes, with notice. California requires the consent of everyone on the call, so we set up a recording announcement on your lines before recording is switched on. Our call recording guide for California businesses covers the details.
Does it work with Microsoft Teams?
Tell us how your team uses Microsoft 365 and we will show you, before you sign anything, how calls will reach people who work in Teams, on desk phones, and on the mobile app.
Which Orange County cities do you serve?
Irvine, Tustin, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Lake Forest, and Santa Ana, plus Anaheim, Orange, Laguna Hills, Mission Viejo, Aliso Viejo, and the rest of Orange County and Long Beach.
Can you run our IT and internet too?
Yes. Orange County clients already run phones and managed IT through DirecTech on one bill, and we also handle business internet, backup internet, and websites, with one number to call when something breaks.
