Phones we run inside the city limits
These are open accounts on our books today. We describe them by trade rather than by name because we have not asked them to appear in an ad.
East Anaheim Street, since 2021
An independent escrow company has run its office phones through DirecTech since December 2021. Escrow lives on the phone with lenders, agents, and buyers, so every officer has a direct line and voicemail that reaches email.
Westside industrial area
A friction materials manufacturer on West 14th Street moved its phones to DirecTech in 2023, covering the front office and the plant floor on one system.
Long Beach and Seal Beach
A family business with a store on Santa Fe Avenue and a second in Seal Beach put both on one DirecTech account in 2026, so either location can pick up the main line.
How Long Beach works
Four business areas, four different phone problems
Long Beach is a port city, a college town, an aerospace hub, and a beach town at the same time. The phone setup that suits one part of it rarely fits another.
Terminal Island, Santa Fe Avenue, West Anaheim Street, and the 710 corridor
Port and Westside
Customs brokers, trucking dispatch, and warehouses that answer drivers and shippers all day. Ring groups that roll to the next dispatcher, Wi-Fi handsets on the dock, and call recording for disputed pickups.
Pine Avenue, the World Trade Center, and the towers along Ocean
Downtown and Ocean Boulevard
Law offices, nonprofits, agencies, and city contractors in leased suites. They need an auto attendant for the lobby, a direct line for every attorney or account manager, and numbers that move with them when the lease does.
Lakewood Boulevard, Spring Street, and the old Douglas aircraft site
Airport and Douglas Park
Aerospace suppliers, engineering firms, and corporate offices next door to our own office. Teams split between the lab, the office, and home want one extension that follows them.
Belmont Shore, Bixby Knolls, Retro Row, and Los Altos
Neighborhood main streets
Salons, dental and medical practices, shops, and restaurants with a few lines each. A friendly auto attendant, texting from the shop number, and phones that keep working when the owner is not on site.
The system
What you get on a DirecTech phone system
A hosted PBX that we build around how your Long Beach office actually takes calls.
Hosted PBX
Extensions, voicemail, and call routing run in the cloud. There is no phone server in your closet to fail or replace.
Ring groups
Dispatch, sales, or the front desk ring together or in order, and callers hear hold music instead of a busy signal.
Desk, cell, or laptop
Answer the same extension on a Yealink desk phone, the mobile app, or a softphone on your computer.
Texting from your main number
Send and receive business texts from your published number. We file the 10DLC carrier registration that texting now requires.
Recording with notice
Record inbound and outbound calls, replay them in a browser, and keep the California notice on your greeting.
E911 by location
Each phone carries a dispatchable street address, which Kari's Law and RAY BAUM'S Act require for multi-line systems.
Multiple sites, one account
Long Beach, Seal Beach, or Orange County locations each keep their own number and hours on one bill.
Porting handled for you
We fill in the carrier paperwork from your bill and schedule the cutover so calls never stop.
Real local support
Changes happen remotely the same day. Hardware swaps and new office moves get a visit from our Kilroy Airport Way office.
Pricing
Posted prices, not a sales call
These are the same bundles listed on our phone bundles page. The monthly price is the full monthly price plus tax, and the phones are a one-time purchase you own.
| Bundle | Monthly | Phones and install, one time | Included |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 users | $202.45 | $1,450 | 5 user licenses, 5 call paths, recording, E911 |
| 10 users | $401.90 | $2,900 | 10 user licenses, 10 call paths, recording, E911 |
| 20 users | $800.80 | $5,800 | 20 user licenses, 20 call paths, recording, E911 |
Every bundle includes 1,000 outbound minutes per user each month and Yealink T74W color-screen phones with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Bigger offices, call centers, and mixed setups are quoted from your current phone bill. See the bundle details or ask for a quote.
Switching
From your old carrier to DirecTech in four steps
A typical Long Beach office with under 20 users is set up in days. The number port sets the final date.
Bill review
We read your latest phone and internet bills, list every number, and flag lines you are paying for but no longer use.
Port authorization
You sign one letter of authorization. We match it to your carrier account exactly so the request is not rejected.
Build and test
Menus, ring groups, voicemail, and phones are configured ahead of time, then tested on your own network.
Cutover
On port day calls start arriving on DirecTech. We confirm every number before you cancel the old service.
Do not cancel first. Ending your old service before the port completes can release your 562 numbers back to the carrier. Our number porting guide explains why.

We have been doing business with Directech for eight years now, and they are hands down the best VOP service, not only with their customer service but with their product line. Thank you to the team at Directech for always being available to service our needs!
Highly recommend! They installed a whole new system very quickly.

Questions
Long Beach business phone questions
Where is your Long Beach office?
DirecTech's California office is at 3780 Kilroy Airport Way, Suite 200, Long Beach, CA 90806, next to Long Beach Airport between the 405 and Lakewood Boulevard. Our phone and IT clients in the city are a short drive away, so installs and on-site fixes do not wait on a technician flying in.
Can we keep our 562 phone numbers?
Usually, yes. Most 562 and 310 numbers, toll-free lines, and fax numbers can be ported to DirecTech. We check every number on your bill before you sign, and your current service stays on until the port completes.
What does a business phone system cost in Long Beach?
Our posted bundles are $202.45 a month plus tax for 5 users, $401.90 for 10 users, and $800.80 for 20 users. Each includes cloud PBX licenses, call paths, call recording, E911, and 1,000 outbound minutes per user. Yealink T74W desk phones and installation are a one-time $290 per user. Anything outside those bundles is quoted from your current bill.
Do you install phones at the Port and in warehouses?
Yes. We set up Wi-Fi desk phones and the mobile app for dock offices, yards, and warehouse floors where running a cable to every desk is not practical, and we test call quality on your network before go-live.
Can one system cover our Long Beach and Orange County locations?
Yes. One cloud account can hold several sites, each with its own main number, hours, and menus, and extensions dial each other across locations. One of our clients runs its Long Beach and Seal Beach locations this way.
Do we need to replace our internet first?
Not usually. We test your current connection for bandwidth and jitter, and if it needs help we can quote business internet or a backup line with automatic failover through the same account.
Is recording calls legal for a California business?
Yes, if everyone on the call is told. California is an all-party consent state, so we add a short recording notice to your greeting before recording is turned on.
Who answers when something goes wrong?
Our own team, by phone at 866-832-7117 or by email. Most changes, like adding a user or editing a menu, are done remotely the same day, and anything that needs hands on a phone gets a visit from Long Beach.
